R.E.A.C.H.’S STORY

Established in 2024 by Dr. Elise Green, the R.E.A.C.H program was born from a personal vision inspired by her upbringing as a child of a single mother. Recognizing the challenges faced by youth when family support is limited, Dr. Green sought to create an initiative that provides guidance and mentorship to those in need.

R.E.A.C.H is dedicated to empowering and uplifting troubled youth through transformative mentorship. Our program inspires young individuals to rise above their current circumstances and embrace their true identities and destinies.

With a focus on guidance, resources, and a nurturing environment, we equip our mentees with tools they need to become law- abiding citizens while achieving their extraordinary goals. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our youth.

R.E.A.C.H aims to help youth discover their identities and understand their self-worth, empowering them to overcome obstacles and pursue their aspirations.

Our Services

R.E.A.C.H Pillars

R.E.A.C.H is built on two essential pillars that guide our mission. Each milestone achieved by our mentees contributes to their journey of growth and success.

  • Building Success with B.U.I.L.D

    Brothers Uniting Intentionally for Leadership and Development  

    For young men in our program, every milestone reached is symbolized by placing a brick on the wall, representing their accomplishments and growth in leadership and development

  • Weaving Achievements with Q.U.I.L.T

    Queens United and Intertwining through Leadership and Teamwork  

    For young women, every achievement is honored with a patch added to a quilt, celebrating their progress and the importance of teamwork.

Our program specifically targets:

Youth in the Juvenile Pipeline:

Providing support and resources to navigate challenges and promote positive outcomes.  

At Risk Youth:

Offering mentorship and opportunities to help break the cycle of disadvantage.  

Youth Who Have Been Given Up On:

Fostering an environment of hope and resilience for those who feel abandoned or overlooked.

Mentorship Relationships:

Students are paired with dedicated mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and support throughout their journey.  

Active Listening:

Mentors are here to listen to students' concerns, challenges, and aspirations, fostering a safe and trusting environment where they feel valued and understood.  

 Together, these elements help students navigate their paths with confidence and purpose and through its commitment to these demographics, R.E.A.C.H is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, helping them to thrive despite challenges.

Resources we offer to Youth:

Youth Mentorship:

Our program provides dedicated mentorship for both males and females, fostering personal growth and development.

Individual and Group Session:

Participants can engage in personalized one-on-one sessions or dynamic group discussions, promoting shared learning and support.  

Career Development:

We collaborate with local businesses and entrepreneurs to create pathways for employment opportunities, ensuring youth can become law-abiding citizens while building successful careers.  

College/Entrapreneuer Preparation:

We offer resources and guidance to help youth navigate the college application process, entrepreneurship while empowering them to pursue and achieve their dreams.
