Dr. Elise Green CEO
Dr. Elise Green has over 30 years of experience in mentoring youth, driven by her passion for empowering the next generation. Growing up and pursuing her education in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Green developed a strong appreciation for the value of presence and community support. Despite facing challenges in an environment with limited opportunities, she credits the mentoring of family members and her community for her academic and professional success. Their unseen contributions and mentorship shaped her belief in the transformative power of engagement and guidance.
Dr. Green has served in a variety of impactful roles related to youth empowerment, including fostering young mothers, mentoring as a youth pastor at her church, and inspiring students through classroom visits. Her commitment to uplifting youth continues as she volunteers as a Youth Leader with the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Richmond Youth Group, serves on the board of Virginia Union University National Alumni Association (VUUNAA), and collaborates directly with students at Virginia Union University.
Dr. Green’s mission is to help young people embrace their identities, recognize their strengths, and understand their worth. Inspired by the Nigerian proverb, "It takes a village," she envisions the REACH Mentoring Program as a supportive community dedicated to Restoring, Embracing, and Assuring the Community there’s Hope for youth. Together with her team, Dr. Green is enthusiastic and ready to REACH out to positively transform the lives of youth.
